Amanda Benishai is an associate in the real estate and litigation departments in Phillips Nizer’s New York office.
Amanda represents management companies, landlords and coop/condo boards in a broad range of commercial real estate litigation matters, including nonpayment and holdover proceedings. She regularly drafts complaints, motions, discovery requests and correspondence in contract actions based upon breaches of leases and personal guaranties. Amanda also conducts legal research and drafts legal memoranda on various issues including, but not limited to, rent-stabilization laws and The Housing Stability and Tenant Protection Act of 2019 (HSTPA).
