Naeemah Clark is counsel in the Trusts and Estates Department at Phillips Nizer LLP, where she provides estate planning, tax planning and estate and trust administration services.

Ms. Clark partners with individuals, families and business owners to structure and implement plans tailored to meet each client's wealth preservation and wealth transfer goals. Ms. Clark uses her knowledge of gift, estate, generation-skipping transfer (GST) and income tax laws to ensure that each client's plan will minimize tax burdens. Once a tax efficient plan has been developed, Ms. Clark prepares the appropriate will, trust(s) and/or other documents necessary to accomplish the desired objectives.

In addition to estate planning, Ms. Clark's practice also includes representing fiduciaries in the administration of trusts and estates and providing broader U.S. tax planning advice to domestic and international clients.

Prior to joining Phillips Nizer, Ms. Clark was associated with two other law firms where she helped Fortune 500 companies, closely-held businesses, directors, officers, financial professionals and other successful individuals resolve high stakes commercial disputes through negotiation, mediation or litigation. Ms. Clark is adept at using available laws and, if necessary, the court process, to achieve desired client outcomes.

Ms. Clark received a Master of Laws (LL.M.) in Taxation, with Distinction honors, from Georgetown University Law Center, along with a Certificate in Estate Planning. She received her Juris Doctor degree from Yale Law School. Prior to law school, Ms. Clark worked as an investment banking analyst at Goldman, Sachs & Co. She completed her undergraduate studies at Amherst College, graduating with cum laude honors and a Bachelor of Arts degree in economics.

In addition to her professional accomplishments, Ms. Clark is a dedicated member of the legal community. She has provided pro bono legal services to numerous clients over the years and previously served on the Board of Directors of Atlanta Legal Aid Society. She is an active member of the American Bar Association (Real Property Trust and Estate Law Section and Tax Section) and the National Bar Association (Tax Section).
