The Business of WE, founded by Paulina Lopez, CEO, supports minority business women and entrepreneurs with resources to help grow their businesses by offering connections with industry experts, networking and educational opportunities and mentoring programs.
Regina E. Faul, Partner and Chair of the Employment & Labor Law Practice at Phillips Nizer is spearheading this effort and sees the opportunity as a good fit with the firm’s core values. Regina stated, “We are deeply committed to diversity and have supported numerous programs towards this effort. Phillip Nizer has implemented several initiatives in recent years to promote and further advance the firm’s diversity efforts. Recent initiatives include its Racial, Equity, Diversity & Inclusion (“REDI”) Task Force, which leads the firm’s diversity efforts with firm management and its participation in the Midsize Mansfield Rule certification process, an exciting and innovative national initiative designed to help close the gender and diversity gap in the legal profession.
