George Fearon is Chairman of the Entertainment Law Department. His practice encompasses Transactional, Entertainment and Intellectual Property law including copyright infringement litigation.

Representation of individuals and corporations in all aspects of the music industry including recording, live performances, music publishing and administration, licensing, management and merchandising. Serve as administrator of major catalogs of sound recordings and musical compositions. Representation of individuals and corporations in connection with the acquisition and sale of catalogs of songs and sound recordings. Representation of authors and publishers in litigations involving the infringement of copyrights to musical compositions and other copyrighted works.Mr. Fearon graduated from Hofstra University in 1967 and received his Juris Doctor from Brooklyn Law School in 1970. He joined Phillips Nizer in January 1973, was elected to partnership in 1978 and was appointed Chairman of the Entertainment Department in 1992.
