Alan Behr Appointed to Chair of the INTA’s Enforcement Sub-committee of the Copyright Committee
01/03/2022The International Trademark Association (INTA), a global association of brand owners and professionals dedicated to supporting trademarks and complementary intellectual property (IP) to foster consumer trust, economic growth, and innovation, and committed to building a better society through brands, appointed Mr. Behr Chair of the Enforcement Subcommittee, within the Copyright Committee, for a two-year term beginning January 1, 2022. The Copyright Committee develops and advocates policy on the impact of copyright law and enforcement on trademark rights.
Mr. Behr, a partner in the Corporate & Business Law Department and Intellectual Property Practice, and chairman of the Fashion Practice at Phillips Nizer LLP concentrates his practice on international intellectual property, fashion, and entertainment law. He represents established and up-and-coming businesses and individuals in the fields of electronic entertainment, emerging technologies, publishing, fashion, and consumer products.
